Work Examples
Three very different businesses, one through-line: each one needed to be chosen on trust.
Repositioning a 30-year-old firm for national growth
Challenge: A project management firm with a stellar three-decade reputation in the NY tri-state area, expanding into new regions and sectors. Its website was dated, its messaging was functional, and marketing was stuck in reactive sales support.
What I did: A 30-day deep dive: buyer personas, features-to-benefits mapping, a SWOT, and a brand audit of 19 national and regional competitors plotted on a positioning map. A brand direction pairing a modern aesthetic with the firm's human, relationship-driven side. A full website redesign and expansion with a design/development partner. A leadership story video, a thought leadership content series, newsletter and social calendar, and a milestone-anniversary campaign. Built out HubSpot as the marketing infrastructure for email, automation and sales alignment.
Growing a local creative studio into a multi-location brand
Challenge: A beloved creative studio for kids and adults whose brand, website and customer data hadn't kept up with its quality or its growth plans.
What I did: Started with a brand & website assessment, then a 3-month brand identity project, then took on ongoing leadership of brand and partnerships. New digital brand identity and brand story video; new website build, copy and SEO/AEO; new customer booking-system discovery and integration; brought agency communications in-house; social identity and content strategy; influencer relationships and in-studio experiences; media relationships; a formalized event strategy, from private parties to seasonal pop-ups; CRM and audience segmentation strategy.
Building a marketing function from scratch
Challenge: A professional services firm with real warmth, relationships, and a strong point of view, none of which showed up in its public brand, and no marketing function to change that.
What I did: Built the brand and marketing function from the ground up. Brand discovery to define personality and voice, a refined palette and type system, and a website redesign. A content management system so sales and business development could find and use the right materials. Thought leadership strategy, ICP personas and competitive grading for AEO. Account-based marketing campaigns pairing executive-authored LinkedIn content, paid social and personalized email to COOs and CFOs. Trained and mentored a junior marketing manager.
“What truly sets Hannah apart is her authenticity. As an open and honest leader, she built a culture of trust and transparency for our team. These values came across in all her marketing efforts.”
